I went to UCSD from 1989-92 and Lee was the king at XTRA radio. Jim Rome was a late night guy doing new bulletins.

Used to love his lead ins to his daily radio, "from San Diego to Rancho Cucamonga, hello San Diego, this is whats going on in and around the world of sports . . .

Said some stupid stuff and got himself nixed, but in pre-internet age, his daily show was like a news feed.
