You're right. I think 7.1 is the average and many elite edge have sub 7.0. But there are a lot of super productive edge defenders with times much higher than 7.32. Demarcus Lawrence turned in a 7.46. So there are other factors.

Anae is a subpar athlete for the position but he has been super productive and he nearly dominated in the Senior Bowl. He's just one of those football players that knows how to get things done. Ideally you have great production and athleticism but when one is lacking, Snead's bias has been towards production over athleticism.

Mims may go round 1 but I've got a feeling he slides. Interestingly enough, LMU93's aggregate draft projections have him as the 44th ranked prospect which is where I have them trading up to. Anyway, if he's gone one of the top WRs will slide and there are several that I think they could make a move for.
