Can't tell if this is in reply to me, JM. If it is, then, yes the Rams are scrambling out of necessity, but it's an untenable situation that they've created themselves.

Two things, Classical.

1. Injuries to Gurley and Cooks are the biggest culprits here. When both were healthy and productive nobody was complaining about admittedly humongous salaries. Once the injuries kicked in the Rams had to make a couple of difficult decisions, which they did, to their credit.

2. The Ram cap situation is NOT untenable. Better words might be awkward, challenging, delicate, tricky, etc. And the cap situation will be much improved next year because of biting the bullet this offseason.

Things are still very much under control and I expect a playoff season, barring catastrophic injuries to key players.
