Great points and I agree with yours and Pool's line of thinking... But coaches probably feel that they can coach up route running and hands, whereas "you can't teach speed". Having said that, Cooper Kupp looked faster on the field after his ACL rehab, and still has that great route running and hands. Still, I think the "can't coach speed" affects where they get picked.
