I still don't understand the motivation to re-brand. The Ferragamo's are steeped in tradition, unique and associated with winning.
I get the impression they are going for a "this isn't your father's Rams" campaign to bring in new/young fans. But I just don't agree with it. The Rams have a strong base of fans upon which can be built and expanded. If the Rams would show some pride in and promote the uniforms that so many already love, people would continue to fill the band wagon.
Instead, they seem to take every opportunity to downplay and strive to move away from that great tradition. And if your own team doesn't even have pride in it's colors and iconography, why should the fans? Do the Rams really think that there are that many fans out there that are going to become Rams fans because of Nike-fied uniforms? Is that even the type of fan you'd want for you team?
