Who ever heard of most kickers before they appeared on an NFL field?

Yes, I'm sure some lifer draftniks heard of these guys.
But whoever heard of Greg Zeurline before the Rams drafted him?

I have no idea who these guys are that the Rams signed. But there are probably a number of guys who have not appeared in an NFL uniform that would do pretty darn well if given the opportunity. It's just that until that happens, nobody knows. And there's darn few of those jobs available.

Both of these guys the Rams signed might be worthy; neither might be.
