You are so right on! McVay worked with Gurley for a year and a half, skated press conferences, danced around the knee questions, blah blah about Gurley's use and lack of carries.
Bottom line......McVay covered for Gurley....Our HC went to the edge of the cliff for #30.......Then, he said enough is enough...TG just can't get 100% healthy.
McVay learned one big thing.......I can't put 1 player ahead of the entire team.......I need to put the team first!........"WE NOT ME."
