you will always be disappointed if you try because you cant recreate those memories. time stops for no one. embrace the future.
I don't think anyone is trying to "recreate" those memories. In my case, I like the "skull" version the best for the same reason I liked it as a kid in the 60's. It looks cool to me. I enjoy seeing it on merch just as much now as I did then.
As for "embracing the future", I would say it's more like "BRACE yourself for the future" because of that crappy logo that was approved.
I can't embrace something like a logo if I don't "connect" with it. There are Rams logos that I never liked also. The first Rams head (40's-50"s?), the St louis Arch one and the very last one. Never "embraced" them or bought any merch just for those logos. I HAVE purchased merch just because it had the Rams skull head on it. I "accepted" all the logo's but didn't "embrace" all of them.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
