The one on the left starts out white and then fades to yellow
The one on the right doesn't
That would drive me nuts
I agree about the unbalance of the fading, while it would not drive me to that same level, my eye will draw to it...because it is wrong.
Just like every time I see the new logo, my eyes draw to the blue line separating each HORN. They, IMO, should have used different shades of the yellow to show the twist/perspective change of the HORN as it curls down and around.
Also someone pointed out that the new HORN stops in the visual of a "C" instead of wrapping up and around.
Which leads me to the "High Definition" of our society today. Real HORNS could have been modified with yellowing to the level that represents the RAMS and leave the texture of the actual HORN. Today's technology can make that great and pair it with a RAMS head that is grimacing for a fight and sporting our blue.
As it is the new logo looks like the RAM wants to go
eat grass and hangout.....
Agree pretty much with all this. Especially the part about "smoking grass and hanging out"! Looks like whoever they paid to design it was "smoking grass and hanging out" a bit too much! And what the hell is Demoff thinking approving it?!?! His "stuff" must have been even stronger!!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
