Gurley had no blocking last year. When TG has room to run, he runs, and runs well. No, he wasn't hurdling players last year like he did in 2018, but I really don't think it was his knee. Im not sure what happened between TG and the locker room, but the relationship clearly soured. I think Henderson might be a player, and maybe the drop-off won't be a thing, but I think the Rams running game is all contingent on the o line....and it wouldn't hurt if Goff plays better. Last year, the Rams couldn't block and Goff was mostly bad....that is a bad recipe for a RB.
I do have TG30 bias, I love the guy. I wish him well and won't be surprised if he is comeback player of the year. Extending RBs to massive deals before necessary is never a good idea.
He's going to have to
pick it up a bit. He was ranked 31 out 32 RBs last week.
Yeah, just a "little" bit or else he might not get that "comeback player of the year" award! However, he is in a close race for DEOTY (Disgruntled ex-employee of the year) award between him and Clay Matthews.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
