ok.... after looking at the new site and team store, it's not as bad

The key for both logos is that they need to be on a lighter color background and not the blue, which then allows for the blue outline to be used.

To me, that makes them more tolerable than when on the blue background. Both logos are so simple that they require the blue border for additional detail.
