He looked a little rough those first couple of games, but he definitely seemed to improve every game. He is a little bit of a waist bender and played a little too high and needed to widen his base, but he did seem to make improvements in those areas and had some really nice run blocks in his last couple of games getting some good push moving dlineman out of out of the hole. I definitely think he has chance to be pretty good guard with a fairly high ceiling, it will be interesting to see how he does with a whole off season with Kromer. The way he comes out of his stance, he looks like he might not naturally be that good of a center unless he really reps the heck out of it and becomes more of knee bender. That is one reason I really want a higher draft pic for center over guard. I consider Byth more of stop gap until we get another dude up to speed.
