Whether Gurley got sideways with McVay or was a locker room problem or whatever? The Rams bit a HUGE bullet and flat released him. Not unlike a surgeon that has to amputate a leg to save the patient, you know?
This whole Gurley thing from the injury to the release was a damned shame. Sigh...
It's sad they had to release TG30. It's also clear the Rams have made some personnel mistakes over the last few years and some were compounded by bad luck.
But there's one thing I'm happy about. The guys in charge are aggressive and willing to make tough decisions. The one thing I can't stand is passivity in my leaders.
So I like that they both have a big set.
