Edit: Since they designated him a post June 1st, his cap savings 5.5m (17.25 cap number - 11.75 dead money = 5.5 million in savings) is not available until June 2nd. If they cut him pre-june 1st designation, they lose all 20.15 million in cap space immediately in dead money and would be free and clear in 2021.
