I will say it's time to stop talking our coached up....it's time for them to not talk but actually respond. I find it kinda ironic when Sean would represent Rick Flair.....now it's time for him to do it for real.."Walk the Walk".....Talking these guys up is kinda like more of a hope they do type deal. We lost a ton of talent in the past week, and it ain't over yet. We've replaced some guys, brought back some guys, now we're just letting them go.
Wish we could make a deal with Melvin Gordon....but I know that can't be done....
I just don't want to go back to the dark days....the 10 year drought days...I keep hearing let's trust in Sean and Company...sorry I've been hit too many times in the past to just do that so easily....I so want to trust...I so want to believe that they have a plan....but that just calls out a want of hope....Kinda like the days of so and so being drafted..so and so being the new coach.....
It's not so much our window closing as much as it looks like everyone else in the division is opening theirs....The whiners are coming off a SB game and have 2 1st rd. picks.....the cards brought on IMO the best WR in the league...the hawks never go away....It will really be bottom again if we end up in 4th place and still have no pick in the top of that draft......Plus I guess we'll be dropping more guys to take care of those coming up next year in their final year contracts?....
The window is not closing, but our chances are dwindling....we need a total resurgent D, Goff MUST improve regardless of the O-Line....he MUST read quicker, he MUST feel the rush, he Must hit open players at a better rate....He MUST own up to his contract, he MUST start learning to read defenses...He's a tough cookie, no doubt....but that can't be all he can offer up.....
I do know this they just threw away 14 or more TD's and are paying out $20 mill to boot....I can't see them overcoming the points the TGIII gave them...who replaces that?
