I never really liked the tagging deal, did it with several guys and I never thought we got anything of value in the end. Spent top dollar on guys like Trumaine and in the end he went elsewhere for big contract $'s and while we had him we still lost a bunch of games. That money could have gone to a couple of players....maybe the same outcome....who knows.
We have enough issues going into this year to yet add another to the 2021 season roster...with those other players coming due then.
If he was the main piece to our return to the SB run...I'd say do it....but IMO it's not that way.
