I know alot of people want a big run stuffing lb but in my opinion having a faster, coverage + athlete is the better option. Reeder was constantly targeted when he was in last season while I never saw any plus to having him vs the run game.
Gaither, though small, is super fast and athletic while showing + coverage skills during Senior Bowl week. People say he has the frame to hold 20 more pounds. This is type of defender that I think causes offenses problems. As opposed to a Reeder type player.
Anyways, have not ever seen him play so all this is at best second hand. But would enjoy opinions from anyone else who has them.
