I have finally put it all together.
Rams haven't hired new RB coach. Its been weeks. Shouldn't be that tough right?
Now reports are coming out Rams want to meet with Gurley, before they move forward. Why?
Rams love Gurley and Gurley loves the Rams. Its a good match.
So the Rams are meeting with Gurley in an attempt to get him to retire, and in the process clearing the cap space, and offering him a coaching gig as the new RB coach so he can still be a Ram, still live in LA and be near Hollywood. And if they wanted to, they could pay him all that guaranteed money in the form of a coaching contract. It would make him the highest paid RB coach in the history of history by 10s of millions, but its what I call a win, win win. Gurley still gets paid, is still in football and the Rams clear a ton of space.
