yeah but let's be honest....

It's true that the Rams can't look at their 2020 free agents with blinders on because 2021 IS looming. But let's be honest, while the 9 guys listed here are all contributors it's all about Ramsey, Kupp and Johnson. Ramsey will obviously get an extension (and the money they save from releasing Gurley and Cooks in 2021 basically covers it).

NRC would be great to keep but he's a nice-to-have. Matthews will retire. Reynolds hopefully can go to a team in 2021 and get a bigger role. And as is mentioned, Everett could possibly be traded this offseason.

One of the reasons to possibly allow all three (Fowler, Littleton, Brockers) to leave is to recoup high compensatory picks that will help them back-fill some of these role players departing in 2021.
