Yeah, I’m seeing the Rams pursuing one of two options at C.
Extend Blythe at a very reasonable price if they’re convinced that his bad ankle and 2 bad shoulders held him back from being an average to good C last year. Might be a very solid assumption, tbh.
Or they choose to take a C high in this next draft. Perhaps as high as #52.
I do believe that C is our missing piece on the OL at this point and they must make some move that will give them confidence at C as they enter the next season. I think that they know that this is absolutely imperative.
Corbett is a possibility at C, I suppose, because Kromer sounds really high on him. But I have no idea whether Kromer is willing to put many eggs in the Corbett-at-C basket just yet. I’m betting not.
