I absolutely love Marlon Davidson and I think at the end of the day, he goes in the 2nd round somewhere. AU plays a 34 and Davidson lined up as a DE and they listed him at 278 lbs. He came to the combine bulked up to 297. So he has put on some weight, and from what I have heard, it was good weight. He was great in drills and now he has the size to play as either a 5 tech or a 3 tech. He can get to the QB and has a great motor. So I love this pick.
Stenberg is one of my favorite OGs in the draft. He has been coined the most hated player in the SEC because he is tough and nasty, and not afraid of a fight. And he isn't afraid of a personal foul penalty. If the right OL coach can harness that mean streak, you could really have a mauling LG that sets the tone for your whole line.
Antonio Gibson is an interesting pick, simple because he had more catches (38) then carries (33) He is a WR/RB hybrid with no real position. I think he is a RB. He was a RB at the Senior Bowl and he has the size to be a RB. He is fast, and not just fast for 223 lbs. Flat out fast. So here is a guy that is big, fast and can catch at RB. I think he will have a learning curve to become a fulltime RB. But he is worth the investment IMO.
I think we both love Devin Duvernay. He had a monster game against LSU and absolutely smashed Delpit into the ground, kept going and dropped his shoulder on another DB. He can run over or past you. He could be quite the weapon for the Rams if used properly.
Michael Pinckney is a pick I can live with. he has the size for todays NFL ILBer, and he will pop you. I like his teammate Quarterman more, but I think Pinckney is the better athlete, so he probably makes more sense.
Sullivan works for me as a 7th round TE. I also want to see more TE depth. This draft doesn't have the horses at TE they had in the past, but there is good depth with some sneaky sleepers in it.
