dzram and deapool - talk to me about play action

it seems to me that both the Rams and 49ers oline (even the Rams 2018 oline) struggle against good defenses in pass protection when they have to pass block straight up

that play action hides some interior weaknesses and the Rams/49ers WRs and TEs are critical in run and pass blocking for both of these sister offenses

are these teams too dependent on play action... is there such a thing? lol

I said this last year but I was alarmed with how poorly the Rams offensive line played in pass pro when teams actually knew they were going to pass straight up. Romo and Aikmen mentioned it last year as well. Of course it was on full display this year
