Wow, 40 years ago today... I remember that day well. At 8 years old and having followed the Rams just a couple years at that point I was disappointed by the end but didn't have the history or scars to really be all that upset about it. Just went to my room and wrote a condolence letter to Vince Ferragamo...which he responded to a couple months later with an autographed picture that's still on my office wall today.
