Is the targeting rule the same in the NFL as it is for the NCAA? Last night Skalski was ejected for targeting... Skaski you may or may not know is the heart of the Clemson D. It WAS targeting.. IMHO no doubt about it...although I have seen a few who didn't think so. BUT... my point here is: Should it have been an ejection?
As I understand the NFL Targeting rule 'ejection' is possible but not mandatory... I'm not sure about the NCAA. I just can't go along with the 'ejection' part of this because it brings into play 'intent', and 'intent' is difficult to determine at best.
