From the current article. Also, there are many different types of strength programs. It's not just 'lifting weights'. There's nutrition, also plyometrics, pilates, cross-fit many different ways to 'add a strength program'
Why can't you just admit you don't know what he did last off-season and you don't know what he'll do this offseason and leave it at that. Just like you're not Gurley's doctor, you're not Goff's strength coach. You're just a poster with an opinion. Just like the rest of us schlubs.
Okay. So. There's all sorts of things that qualify as a strength program.
And we know for a fact that he has already done some of them. It led to strength gain and muscle gain and we know that because he, his coach, and at least one team mate talked about it, on the record. Plus we saw the results. Posters here, and national press guys like Charles Robinson, noticed the gain in size and discussed it.
The only reason anyone would dispute that is because (1) they ignore the facts, and/or (2) have some kind of need to believe he has never, ever done any kind of strength training before.
The upshot?
There's no argument.
He has strength trained before. We know that. There's nothing to debate when it comes to that. Maybe he is doing different things this time, but that was not my argument--I was countering those who said he had done NOTHING before. Well we know that's not true. He did do things before, that qualify as strength training, and included lifting weights.
So are we done now? Because IMO there's nothing real or of value to add to this dispute.
