I was thinking the same thing BUT . . . .

the W.C. weekend simply doesn't have the intensity of being 1 game from the big dance.

I tell any fan - if you ever get to go to one game - be it a SB or a Championship Game. Nothing and I mean NOTHING beats the championship game for intensity.

Real fans, real stakes, real intensity.

The SB is such a show, its seems fake and I've been to 3 of them 34, 36, 53. The Championship games of 1999, 2001, 2018 all topped the intensity of the SB games despite the meaning attached.
