I’m hoping we can keep these 2 in Horns - the pass rush was intense against SF and I feel that Fowler is the best option we have - would hate to see him signing with division rivals

Because for every player you keep you subtract two more from a future year. Signing them NOW also subtracts future space.

They have to sign Ramsey and have already signed Goff and Donald. How many more big contracts can a team afford?

So if you want to sign all 3--Ramsey, Fowler, and Littleton--that's at least 50 M right there. In future cap space. that's in addition to 56 or more M for JG and AD. (Which combined is more than half the cap.) Plus of course there are already others, like Woods. So which of these guys who come up in 2021 do you want to let go? Hill? Everett? Kupp? Johnson? Reynolds? D.Williams? Because signing all 3 now--R, F, & L--may mean at best you only keep ONE of the guys up in 2021.

So it's not just Fowler v. Littleton, it's Fowler or Littleton v. Hill, Kupp, and Johnson.

Would Goff restructuring his contract would that enable the Rams to kelp Littleton and Fowler?

Fowler was 9th in pass-rush win rate among edge rushers
