McVay made sure we won the last game, he did not want to go 8-8 and call it a winning season.
All this talk of Gurley, Cooks being gone is garbage. Gurley is not the back he used to be and will probably only be with us for one more year, so lets make the best of it. Cooks really opened up the offense the last two games, and if you look at his last years highlight tape a lot of his catches were him being led into the DB, with McVay's maturation the Rams have an offense that no one wants to play, we went into SF and out played the best defense in the NFL. The emergence of Higbee is only going to make this offense a top 3 next year. Defense is finally getting the players that Wade needs, our corners are now shut down, man to man corners, our D with Mathews and Flowers on the outside is picking up.
As for the draft I think we need to go O & D line, the O line improved but they are not a great line, we need some earth movers on offense and and giant run stoppers on D. We are fine, we played SF in SF and should have won, the Cards are no joke and we handled them.
