I like this guy's analysis about Todd Gurley.
Direct straight line speed is not the issue.
It's explosion in and out of cuts.
He's not the same player. And yes he used to have good open field quickness and would make guys miss. It wasn't glaring elusiveness but it was subtle and it was there. Now you see far less explosion.
He's still good IMO and still has his old red hot "get it" style running in the red zone.
In terms of the OL, it's not either/or---back v. OL--it's both. The OL started the season shaky and picked up some when they had to play the rookies.

Nailed it. IMHO, we will never see the 17'-18' Gurley again. However, IF Noteboom (or someone) can hold down LT, the other pieces are there. Gurley will have a resurgence.
