When we used to think ......If only the Rams could score 24 to 30 a game?? NO DOUBT that Goff and much of the O sputtered......Goff up n down....O line stripped,,,,,Gurley always a question........Play calling made us cringe........
I say.....Rams need work but let's give some due credit. Even during a "down" season, the Rams OFTEN hovered around 30 points or higher. If we all look deeper than us not making the playoffs, McVay DID do a good job on the O side. Could it have been much better? SURE!! But.......IMO......the O played well enough for us to make the playoffs.
In 2020..... I am quite certain the O line will be better. ANY improvement by Goff and the running game will be icing on that side of the ball.
I am also certain we will not see THREE absolute defensive melt downs with key lapses in close big games, like we did this year. I am sick we are watching the playoffs this year but already stoked for 2020.
