Sweet retribution...

I don't tape games as a rule.... I have a few.

During a recent game I had a house full of guests.... lots of young adults, friends of my grandsons, none Rams fans. During the game one of them commented, "AD didn't show up for this game", (or something like that)... to which I replied, "The man is double teamed and sometime triple teamed every play".... their reply to my retort was this:

They condescendingly grinned among themselves... the obvious implication being, "JamesJM is a nice old man, allow him his idiosyncrasies". One went a bit further... to the glee of his friends he kindly corrected me saying, "no one is triple teamed in the NFL".

I allowed them a few moments to bask in the glow of 'setting the old man straight'... then I hit rewind. Their stunned silence when I pointed out a TRIPLE team on AD was... how should I say this? "Bliss". - JamesJM
