....vs. DAL and take out a team when it is vulnerable (Gil Brandt tweeted Sean McVay is 5-0 with margins of victory around 20 per game against teams who have lost 3 or more in a row) AND beat a little banged up SF squad (no Ford, no Sherman, no starting center and a healthy Todd Gurley the Rams did not have in the first match up)....man, they can capture the sixth slot. IF that happens and IF New Orleans struggles with all the injuries and ends up staying the 3 seed, MAN, WHAT A WILDCARD GAME!!
A Ram fan can dream, can't he?...
I reviewed the game stats from the SF debacle. Noteboom went down after ten plays, the Rams had about five penalties on offense, and were stopped TWICE on fourth down and produced 26 yards on 26 plays in the second half with the back breaking fumble on the first play of the second half (either Goff or Henderson's fault).
I know energy and emotion only goes so far in pro sports, but they were embarrassed and watching the DC for SF Robert Saleh pump his fists and and relish stuffing the vaunted Rams offense HAS to stick in their competitive craw, no?
