In any game, there is a delicate balance of strength vs strength. Many games are competitive for a while, but as soon as one team gains the upper hand a game may turn into a blowout. There is often a thin line between a cellar dweller and a team that's in the playoff hunt. Were the Rams really that bad earlier in the season? They were held back largely by holes in the offensive line. It might seem that a team should be able to compensate for a weakness, but in that case the Rams appeared to be an entirely different team. There were other factors, such as the re-emergence of Todd Gurley and refurbishing the secondary, but the Rams now appear to be an entirely different team than they were earlier in the season. Let's hope the Cowboys don't suddenly right the ship this week!
