He a very good player
You just really like him and when you like somebody boy do you go overboard.
And I have told you for 2 years he was one of the best slot WRs in football. I also told you the real test would come when either Woods or Cooks or both get hurt and he becomes the focus... as the slot 3rd Wr he wasn't asked to be the focal point. He often was matched against the teams 3rd and weakest corner and you consistently ignored it
He in the McVay system was perfect especially with Woods and Cooks demanding coverage because of their home run capability
Since Cooks injury and subsequent disappearance from this offense these are Kupp's numbers
Hawks 4 for 45
Cards - 6 for 65 yards
Ravens - 6 for 35 yards
Bears - 3 for 53 yards
Steelers - 0
You are right people are now paying attention and as people are now focusing on him and his production has dropped dramatically. That is not transcendent. The Rams don't have a transcendent WR. Gurley was transcendent when he was "Gurley" and of course AD is transcendent. Kupp is very good
He will be back once McVay finishes tinkering with the offense because with Higbee and Woods and possible Gurley getting the ball more teams will likely look to stop them.
Its fluid
