Really showed something against Clowney. The Rams have a Havenstein problem.
Having depth is not a problem.
Havenstein is now an experienced back-up who is there if needed. After the season he can be traded.
That's not a problem, it's a good situation.
True. He's a grossly overpaid backup, but it's a nice situation to have. Evans seemed stout vs. an absolute animal. If Noteboom can come back & play well (no small thing) , I really like our chances moving forward.
I don't care about contracts the way some do. In fact most of the time I consider it a non-issue.
The Rams ALSO have a new starter who looks good and his contract is a standard rookie 3rd round deal. I care more about all
that. When they signed Hav I criticized it...my argument was that ROTs are not that hard to replace compared to other positions and so you save big contracts for positions where it's harder to find good players.
But as of right NOW, the way things are going at this point, I don't care about his contract. They can unload him after the season and in the meanwhile, having experienced depth like that is never a bad thing.
