Would have been able to tell it wasn't a good match before they acquired Peters.. unless they thought he could adapt to their scheme, which I wouln't think would be smart, imo...

They were desperate for a talent and a playmaker so it was a combo of thinking they could adapt the scheme, he could adapt, and guessing that he was better at man coverage.
