The funny thing is is that football was so run heavy that we were the team that had the running game to make it through the playoffs. But it was soooo run dominant that a passing game was the essential ingredient to soften the defense. The Cowboys had Staubach, the Vikings had Tarkenton and we had James Harris and Pat Haden.
We should have kept Jaworski and Hadl and developed Ferragamo much sooner.
