you should change your expectations

they aren't being inconsistent they just aren't as good

the offense and passing game will look good against bad defenses... Falcons, Bengals, Cards

Against stout defenses the passing game will falter like they did against 49ers and Steelers

Against defenses like Seattle and Dallas they will compete
