There were few complaints after the Chiefs game last year. If the game is worth a flip, I almost tune out announcers. I think today's audience wants people to ramble on. GET THIS....I watched a Youtube game from the 80s with Pat Summeral and John Madden and 2-3 fans posted remarks complaining that Summeral acted lethargic because he was too silent after a big TD. Silence is golden! I loved to hear Summeral simply say "Touchdown!" and then he'd ZIP IT making the crowd / game the show and not himself.
