“I kid you not, and I wouldn’t lie to you guys,” Weddle continued to tell reporters Monday night. “Half the time (during the game), I didn’t know where the ball was. So there he was, coming through the line, and I had to go tackle him.”
I encourage everyone to go back and watch the highlights featured at halftime last night and watch Weddle. Directly responsible for both of the first two TD's. He looks terrible in light of his comments and these two plays alone....but he was awful all night.
He hasn't been a good leader or player for this team. They will ride it out with him, but it's a shame. They should be playing younger players. He is collecting a paycheck and nothing more.
