A disgustingly rich bunch of owners going for more gluttony is what I got from that novel. Personally, I could not care less about the new stadium. NO stadium should cost that much...EVER! What I read is what is slowly but surly killing the NFL. GREED! If anyone thinks the NFL gives a host of sh** about any fan base, I bet a LOT of good fans in St Louis and San Diego will love to give you a heads up. I live across the Country from L.A. and never had a dog in the whole L.A. / STL / S.D. thing. But I am a fan, like so many outside of those three cities, who witnessed a LOT of bold faced lies to fatten pockets. If a$$es in seats was a REAL concern by the NFL, Tampa and Miami would have lost their teams YEARS ago.

I also say STAND BY. My home town, Jacksonville, WILL be next for the "NEEDED" BILLION + stadium.......Followed with the ransom threats and throat cutting "deals".

ALLLLLLLL of this while the game itself has lost a LOT of appeal to many with endless replays and 15 + flags EVERY game. Like I said in another post a week or two ago about the well being of the NFL.......The NFL BETTER wake the hell up and get with reality!
