Was gonna wait until after the Ravens game to say this, but here goes...
IF, and it’s a huge IF, the Rams can somehow find a way to beat the Ravens? Well, then I think that the Rams would have to be reckoned with for a wildcard spot.
The Ravens are looking like the best team that the Rams must face this year and beating them with this ‘new’ OL still in it’s infancy would be a very tall order. But IF they win this Sunday I would not rule out a possible running of the table in those remaining 5 games.
Would require a monster game from Wade’s D, and an exceptional game from our ST, of course. But if those 2 things happen AND McVay can somehow keep the running game developing while Goff takes occasional shots downfield (and the stupid penalties come to a screeching halt)? I say we’ve got an outside shot here. I still maintain that it’s been the OL that’s been hobbling the Rams all year.
