At the very least they could've gotten him cheaper, maybe. It's strange there was all of the outside voices had legitimate concerns (ones that I ignored because I trust Mcvay), and yet the personnel decision makers who get to see him day in and day out thought highly enough about him to pay him and do it a year sooner than necessary. Gives me hope still that they really do see something special in him.
Either that or the salary cap is about to explode so incredibly that Goff is gonna be making 10-12 million less than the top 15 QBs within a few years.
