I've been PO'd and upset as much as anyone, but always lingering is exactly what you just shared:

McVay is a great leader. Great leaders make mistakes, but they work to not compound them. He is in that mode now. And while it is frustrating to watch him deflect and lie about things, he is doing what he has to do to maintain the culture, his team and the future.
