The Rams did not feel the need to prioritize the OL with high draft picks and $, but instead fooled themselves into thinking Kromer could coach up subpar talent, and $ was spent elsewhere.
The thing about this conversation is all the people assuming an out of sync, beat up OL means the players are subpar talent.
BS. Lol.
I like Noteboom as a future LOT, I like Allen as a center, and Edwards is one of the best low round Rams drafts picks in years.
That's their future OL. Are you going to be in despair until they actually coalesce as a group in 2020?
If you say yes, I am going to bump this thread in 2020.
Meanwhile, yesterday they end up with 3 injured OL (counting Noteboom), 2 green replacements, and 2 guys playing out of position. When that happens it's not going to look good. The mistake is to then act like what you're seeing is a result of a talent deficit. As opposed to having a situation when no OL looks good (or at least it's rare in the extreme) under those conditions.
