I tend to think they'd want to avoid serious interior contact for Clay, but wth I could be way off there.
Making Clay defend the interior run still seems a higher hazard than letting him contain the edge, and get after the passer.
btw, I totally missed snaps by Kenny Young last game
He's not huge, and now they have him wearing #41 Kind of suggest that Wade is thinking in terms of using as a hybrid LB/ safety.
Don't expect to see him a lot, but won't be surprised if they use him in a blitz run package.
Thing about Clay is he does set up people so well, and gets them off their base, and gets after the QB
Also, very good at seeing where the play is going. Perhaps it's less about the jaw, and more about football conditioning?
