Re: Rest-of-season: Seattle, 49ers, VIkings & RAMS

This YEAR reminds me of 1983-1989, weeks 11-17 or so, where every week you loook at 3-4 other teams and you wait for them to lose, and then 'work out' the probabilities.

a) Just can't see Seattle missing the playoffs, but they can lose 3 fairly easily....Seattle will beat the 49ers on MNF...truly believe that (but want 49ers in that one, lol). So they have SF twice + the will lose another 2 between the Vikings, Eagles and Rams ....So, RW is the MVP so far, and it is hard to see him sitting in January, but they will lose 3 more gmes.. Also, then Seattle plays the 49ers in week 17--what if 49ers sit starters if they have won division....argh---but SF will need that game to win the division. Panthers are also no pushover either that Seattle can shut down easily. Prediction: 3 more loses for Seattle

b) ANd, the 49ers may lose up to 4-6 games; after all they are only a 10-6 quality team based on beating any playoff quality teams yet (Rams certainly weren't at the time). All those STATS have been made against 6 bad teams, and 2 decent teams.
Losses to Packers, Ravens and Saints would be 3 in a row....play seattle 2x,and the Rams. They could easily lose 5 games, if not 6.

c) If the Vikings lose to Seattle, Dallas and Packers, then Rams can make the playoffs. And the Lions are playing very well some games. Though the Bears may suck on offense, they still have a top 5 defense---though I don't see Nagy tricking the Vikings. And realitically, I believe the Vikings will beat Dallas--Dak will do nothing against the Vikings.
Prediction: 3 more losses ....Lions will get sneaky on them.

d) Rams
Rams don't have the O line to go week in and week out against Ravens, Dallas and Seattle....but even so they can shut down Jackson and Dak (under 23 points). IF they win 1 of those 3 and beat Seattle, then they will have an all time match up against the 49ers---yes, and win. Sadly Rams are not good enough that you can assume they beat Bears and Cards twice, but that is the guess.

Prediction: heart says 2 more losses; mind says more, lol.

SF: 11-5
Seattle 11-5:
Rams 11-5
Vikings 10-6....

Who wins the NFC west....ya right, like I know lol.
