I think he is an imposter and in time will be exposed.
He may have a free sparkles here and there and for the most part this is a gut feeling, nothing tangible other than eye ball test and how he interacts and plays under the gun. As well as you say his fundamental look and approach to throwing the football which is what is most important as a QB.
To me the man, unfortunately for Rams fans, is Russell Wilson. He is the guy that has a feel for the game and one of the best ever in crunch time.
If the MVP vote was today, I take Wilson over him and wouldn't have a second thought.
My gut says he is more likely to be:
These guys all showed flashes of being a good QB but reality caught up to them when teams figured them out. There are some that are just part of a season or a couple of seasons, but no lasting power because in the end, they couldn't throw the ball and/or didn't have QB instincts.
