We saw that he messed up IN THE GAME. We didn't need his words.
We're into realistic assessment or we're not.
If we are, it's completely fair to say he was not into the Bengals game the way he should have been as a pro. And it is fair to complain about that.
BUT that was also true of most of the defense.
Which explains why they let the Bengals convert 4 of 6 4th downs, including several 4th and longs.
....
I think it's fair to complain about how he messed up in the game. But why are we complaining about his comments on how/why he messed up?
I sincerely hope no one was expecting some mature player. He wouldn't be in a Rams uniform if he was mature. I think it's senseless to complaint about what we should all expect.
