Cincy is a bad football team in all phases. 0-7 is about as bad as it gets; you don't get there through bad breaks. Their HC may be in over his head. The LEAST the D has allowed in a game is 21. The MOST the O has scored is 23.
I'm not at all ready to anoint the Rams as getting their act together. I do think the D will play well and allow less scoring than in earlier games this year simply by the addition of the elite Ramsey. Christian is more than a hole plugger for JJ; he's a good Safety. The critical issue is going to be the Oline. A decent D can make the Rams 1 dimensional. Until the Rams can run the ball with some authority they will be vulnerable. Edwards did OK in his first start, but was anything but overpowering. He played Guard like a Tackle, keeping his opposite at bay as opposed to pushing him around. But... he did fine, wasn't making mistakes or penalties, and is very likely to get better each week.
That said, the Rams do have a good O (despite the Niners debacle) and will score especially against bad teams.
Rams are a good road team. Cincy isn't good on the road or at home.
Rams don't tend to look past poor teams. They ought to feast on Cincy in London. Will they? I think so.
